What you'll learn in this drawing class:
This personalized class will enhance the student's knowledge of basic drawing techniques, as well as learn more advanced drawing skills.
Drawing is essential/fundamental to any medium. Learn and develop your eyes to see values, shapes and depth. Students will work from still life.
List of materials for drawing class:
Drawing is essential/fundamental to any medium. Learn and develop your eyes to see values, shapes and depth. Students will work from still life.
List of materials for drawing class:
- Different shads of pencils (at least 6H, 4H, 2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B )
- Kneaded eraser
- Sketchbook of your choice (One heavy weight (at least 70 lb) sketch pad and one light weight-like news print pad are recommended)
To ensure the quality of lessons, please come on time.

Instructor didn't speak English very well. My 15 year old daughter was the only English speaking person in the room. She didn't come away with a good feeling. Was told she was doing things wrong without much instruction on how to do it right. This wouldn't stop me from finding other classes from Coursehorse. I found it very easy to find a multitude of classes, I will call an make some inquiries next time.

Decent class! Instructor was very calm and instructive, giving all the students equal attention. A great class for absolute beginners because she really focused on basics like how to use different pencils and pencil shades, and drawing simple 3D objects.

The instructor set up a still life on the middle of the table. I was one of two attendees, and we each received highly personalized attention from the instructor throughout the class, tailored to our individual levels of experience. The ambience was very relaxing and inviting- clean studio, soft music, pefect lighting. Time flew by... perfect activity for a lazy Sunday afternoon. I will definitely be returning!

I was not informed that this cousre would have students as young as 9 and 11 years I was the only adult. I strongly regret wasting money on this. You should give more detail in the future.

It was a wonderful class. I want to go again. I think the instructor has a lot to offer.The instructor was very attentive and knowledgeable. She had gentle way of explaining concepts. Time flew by and by the end of the class I had a still life drawing that I was proud of.

I had the best time with this class. I have never taken a formal drawing class before and boy I needed to. I was always so frustrated trying to capture things that I see onto a page. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a star pupil by any means but in one class, I really started to get it. The great teaching and atmosphere really helped things to click in my head that will forever influence the enjoyment I derive from creativity and drawing. I think I can really do it. I will definitely be back get some more guidance. Such a great time.
