What you'll learn in this pie class:

In this class, we will learn how to make the perfect crust and demystify the science of pie.

Understanding the science of what makes a pie crust flaky and tender can be the difference between an amazing crust and a disaster. Each student will make an incredible flaky & tender Double-Crusted Apple Pie.

At 6:45 we will be ready to greet you with appetizers. All classes start promptly at 7pm, although late arrivals may join in at any point of the class. All classes include in-depth instruction, recipes, pie tastings and wine. All you need to bring is yourself.

If you cancel fewer than 24 hours before the start of a class, withdraw once the class begins, or do not show up for any reason, you will:

Forfeit the full amount of your payment.
You may, however, send someone in your place or to receive recipes.

Looking to make the perfect pie crust? I highly recommend the Pie Crust Intensive! Both beginner and experienced pie makers will benefit from this class, taught with great passion by Cheryl from Pie Corps. What I loved was that you not only learn methods, but the science behind everything you do. The big bonus - you get to take home a fantastic apple (that you made), along with some great knowledge that you can apply to all your future pie making. Big Thumbs up!!

A wonderful experience with Cheryl who showed us all we need to know to understand the proper methods of successfully making pie crust dough. We made our own dough and chilled it then rolled it out and made and baked our own huge apple pie. Delicious.She took the time to answer our questions and explain the details. If you are serious about baking and want to create delicious pies with true flaky crust then this is the course to take.
