What you'll learn in this quickbooks class:

Learn about techniques and tricks needed to fully utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping and accounting. This course will help you master the basic concepts of bookkeeping.

The course covers:

accrual-based accounting
types of transactions
chart of accounts
different types of businesses
reading reports
journals and ledgers
the need for double entry

Please note that this is an Information Session only and not an actual Bookkeeping with Quickbooks class.

School Notes: Please don't forget to bring a valid ID. Students registering on or after the first day of class shall be assessed a non-refundable late registration fee of $10.00.

Refund Policy

Tuition refunds are calculated in accordance with the Tuition Refund Policy for those students who officially drop a class or classes during the first three weeks of the semester. Fees are not refundable.

Drops prior to the first day of the semester: 95% Tuition Refund
Drops during the first calendar week of the semester: 75% Tuition Refund
Drops during the second calendar week of the semester: 50% Tuition Refund
Drops during the third calendar week of the semester: 25% Tuition Refund
No refund after the third calendar week of the semester.

Tuition will be refunded 100 percent for those courses which, at any time, are cancelled by the College. Failure to attend class, merely giving notice to the instructor, or stopping payment on a check is not considered an official drop or withdrawal.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

It wasn't a class. It was suppose to be an informational session, but it was only telling the participants what the school offered. Nothing in detail.

I wanted more information on Quickbooks in accounting. The presenter gave us the overview of the cost, the duration of the course. She did not say anything about credits, or getting a certificate of achievement for taking the course. She gave a 3 minute overview.
