Description

What you'll learn in this textile painting class:

Use simple embroidery stitches to create colorful stitched drawings and “paintings.” We will explore color, texture, pattern and style. Choose a wild folk art look or go realistic and dimensional. We will learn the basic stitches. We will talk fabric, hoops (or no hoop), needles, threads, knots, blocking and finishing.

Book required.

Note: Supplies are not included in the fee. A supply list will be e-mailed to students 2 weeks before class; call (212)807-0390 with any questions. Beginning one week before the first class, students receive a 15% discount on most merchandise in our store, not limited to what is relevant to the class.

Refund Policy

Students may withdraw from a class up to 7 days before it starts, and receive a full refund less a $3.00 administrative fee; after that, refunds will only be made if a replacement student can be found. Please plan to attend all sessions; there are no make-up classes.
