With over 20 years of sushi-making experience across California and Boston, Chef Harold is excited to guide you through the art of sushi in this fundamentals class. This hands-on experience is free of gluten, nuts, and dairy and focuses on medium inside-out rolls (uramaki) and hand rolls (temaki). The class begins with preparing miso soup, followed by learning the techniques of sushi rolling. You’ll start with making a shrimp tempura hand roll, then craft a flavorful sweet potato hand roll. To complete your sushi journey, you'll learn how to create a spicy tuna roll.
