What you'll learn in this drawing class:

Open your perception of how you view objects to more readily and easily draw whether you are a beginner or an advanced artist. Find out how to more effectively use your mind and eyes to see with clearer insight and less worry about technique. 

Be guided through various exercises designed to simplify and clarify the art of perception. 

Apply your heightened skills to observe and draw the world around you. Specific tools will be taught to aid in unlocking your drawing potential.
  • Draw more accurately to perceive and translate 3-D objects in space into wholistically comprehensive 2-D drawings.
  • Experience how to connect mind/eye/hand activity in a more effective manner.
  • Gain insight into perception and some neurological functions about sight.
Create many small exercise-driven drawings including gesture, left brain/right brain challenges, and simple solids-based still-lifes.

Please bring a newsprint pad 14" x 17", soft lead graphite pencils, 3B and 4B, erasers, Pink Pearl and kneaded, and a small package or box of medium vine charcoal.
