Teen Camp: Baking and Pastry

Kids aged 12 to 16 are invited to a five-day baking and pastry camp where they'll master approachable yet sophisticated desserts. From classic pies and tarts to innovative French pastry techniques, each day unfolds new skills in measuring, organization, and creativity. Working in teams, students will learn to craft everything from frosted strawberry jam hand pies to chocolate cupcakes with gooey ganache centers, enhancing their baking prowess and presentation skills.

Enjoy complimentary homemade Chopping Block Hot Cocoa as you mix, bake, decorate, and fill four different cookies and one no-bake confection. The best part is, you'll leave with plenty to share with friends and family as you depart with over 2 dozen confections that include 12 types of cookies and 3 no-bake treats!

Kitchen / Menu #2

Holiday Palmiers, Snowballs, Molasses Spice Cookies, Red Velvet Crinkles, and Buckeyes round out this incredible assortment.

Kitchen / Menu #3

White Chocolate Ginger Blondies, Egg Nog Shortbread, Chocolate Peppermint Whoopie Pies, Chocolate Toffee Cookies, and Peanut Butter Fudge in the next room.

Each classroom is limited to 16 people.

Children 12 and older welcome to participate with an adult.

Due to the layout of our kitchens and in consideration of your classmates, students will work in groups of 3 to 5 people. Parties of 6 or more will be directed to our private events department so we can accommodate them appropriately.

Refund Policy

A one-week notice is required for cancellation of any class. If you do not cancel by telephone at least 1 week in advance of your scheduled class, we will charge your credit card in full for the class. Please feel free to send a friend in your place if you cannot attend and it is within one week of the class as no refunds will be available. All classes also have a non-refundable, non-transferable 10% fee for the operational and administrative costs incurred by The Chopping Block. This service fee will not be refunded and cannot be transferred in the case of any cancellation.

Please note: all virtual class sales are final. All virtual students will receive a recording of the class within 48 hours of the class.
