What you'll learn in this pastry class:

Roll up your sleeves and immerse yourself in the art of making extraordinary pastries. Using classic French techniques with a modern approach, Chopping Block Chef Erin Patsiopoulos will teach you the art and science behind creating these professional, show stopping desserts while making them approachable for any home cook. With a Baking and Pastry degree, a Master of Science in Chemistry, and years of experience as an executive pastry chef, Erin brings a wealth of knowledge to teach you the skills and techniques needed to create professional-quality pastries with maximum wow factor. Don't leave these desserts to the bakeries; with a pro working by your side, you'll learn how to master these delicacies in no time!

Be prepared to enjoy a sit-down lunch during class, and go home with a box of your desserts to share with family and friends.

Refund Policy

A one-week notice is required for cancellation of any class. If you do not cancel by telephone at least 1 week in advance of your scheduled class, we will charge your credit card in full for the class. Please feel free to send a friend in your place if you cannot attend and it is within one week of the class as no refunds will be available. All classes also have a non-refundable, non-transferable 10% fee for the operational and administrative costs incurred by The Chopping Block. This service fee will not be refunded and cannot be transferred in the case of any cancellation.

Please note: all virtual class sales are final. All virtual students will receive a recording of the class within 48 hours of the class.

Will I get to make my own pastries or is this a group class where we share duties?

The cooking classes are designed so that students can be broken into small groups, allowing each person to be hands-on. Students will work in groups of 3 to 4 people.
