What you'll learn in this kids art class:
This is an introductory class that encourages students to experiment with painting, drawing, sculpture, sensory objects and building. Parents work alongside their children, helping them develop familiarity with the studio environment and art materials.
Note: This class is for ages 18months to 3y/o
Goals:
Located in Oak Park's Art District. Blocks from the CTA Blue Line and a few blocks west of 290. Street parking available. Cafe down the street if parents need to grab a coffee.

- To understand how tools are to be used (crayons are for drawing, not eating).
- To allow for a secure parent/caregiver and child environment where both can explore together.
- To stimulate the thought process (cause and effect).
- To develop and enhance language skills.
- To develop and enhance fine motor skills such as hand-eye coordination.
