What you'll learn in this kids cooking class:
Calling all budding chefs! This class is designed for young chefs ages 12-17 years old who have a hunger for cooking, and are passionate about expanding their culinary knowledge in our fun, interactive and engaging hands-on classes.
Menu:
- Blueberry Waffles with Maple-Glazed Bacon
- Corned Beef and Potato Hash with Poached Eggs
- Individual Summer Vegetable Quiche with Caprese Salad
Skills covered in class:
- Making batter
- Glazing and baking bacon
- Selecting potatoes and tomatoes
- Poaching eggs
- Rolling out and blind baking pie dough
- Making and baking egg custard
- Working with fresh herbs

All classes also have a non-refundable, non-transferable 10% fee for the operational and administrative costs incurred by The Chopping Block. This service fee will not be refunded and cannot be transferred in the case of any cancellation.
Please note: all virtual class sales are final. All virtual students will receive a recording of the class within 48 hours of the class.
