Our Institute’s Authorized CCNA/CCENT/CCDA/CCNA: Security Quad Certification Boot Camp is a seven day accelerated, in-depth course that can help IT professionals build a foundation in and apprentice knowledge of networking. CCNA/CCENT certified professionals can install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks including but not limited to use of these protocols: IP, EIGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, and OSPF.
Course Description:Our innovative seven day training course is designed specifically for network engineers and administrators requiring full knowledge of Cisco router and switch configuration. InfoSec Institute has been known for quality training since 1997, and our CCNA boot camp has been one of the cornerstones of our educational portfolio available to students. We have the highest commitment in the industry to quality courseware, instruction and exam prep.
InfoSec Institute also supplements your core routing and switching knowledge in class with an additional focus on the two hottest areas of networking: network security and infrastructure design. In this course, we prepare you for exam success and after passing the CCNA/CCENT exams, you then train directly on CCNA: Security and CCDA curricula all in one sitting. In today’s economy, there are many CCNA-certified individuals on the job market.
To distinguish yourself, it is important to demonstrate proficiencies in the subject areas most needed by employers today: routing and switching, infrastructure design, and security. In our survey of the networking professional job market, many enterprise networking positions require or desire experience in network design and security in addition to core routing and switching skills.
How We Combine These CertificationsIn our module-by-module analysis of the official CCENT/CCNA courseware, we have discovered many areas that overlap between the CCNA courseware and the CCDA and CCNA: Security courseware. The Intense School CCNA/CCENT/CCDA/CCNA: Security Boot Camp course gives you the opportunity to apply your knowledge learned in the CCNA/CCENT portion of the boot camp to the CCDA and CCNA: Security portion immediately!
In the CCNA/CCENT/CCDA/CCNA: Security Boot Camp, you increase skills through hands-on practice using remotely accessed pods of Cisco equipment. There is no better way to gain real-world hands on experience than in our lab environment. In addition, the most difficult portion of the CCNA exam is typically the sim questions, which require you to have intimate knowledge of how to properly configure routers and switches. Our lab environment prepares you for exam success, as well as for a real world networking and switching environment.
We also prepare you for success by sending you pre-study material prior to the start of the course. You can begin your learning process as soon as you enroll, so that you can learn the basics on your own and maximize the time spent in-class with the instructor.
Why Choose Our CCNA Course? We prepare every student for class by giving them study material prior to the start of the CCNA® /CCENT® training course along with expert Cisco instructors and mentors to assist throughout the course. Students’ skills are greatly increased during the CCNA® /CCENT® course through hands-on practice and exercises using remotely accessed pods of genuine Cisco equipment.
You should know that you have two options for achieving the CCNA certification (both options result in the CCNA certification):
- You can take a single, grueling, difficult exam: the 200-120 CCNA Exam.
- You can take two shorter and easier exams: the 100-101 ICND1 Exam and the 200-101 ICND2 Exam.
With over 10 years of preparing students for Cisco Certifications, Intense School has found that taking the two ICND exams (Option #2) offers a much better chance of certification success for the CCNA. Having two exams allows you to break up your exam preparation into two distinct phases during the boot camp. You will test the first exam half way through the CCNA boot camp, concentrating all efforts on passing the exam during the first three days. You can then rest assured you are 50% completed on your way to the CCNA, and concentrate efforts on the second exam to be delivered on-site at the training location on the fifth day of the boot camp.
This two exam approach to the CCNA also allows you more time to build real-world networking skills in addition to passing the CCNA.
In addition, we have gotten at the secrets of the CCNA: Security and CCDA exams, and will prepare you for real world network security and infrastructure design work while assuring that you leave this course certified with four Cisco certifications.
Upon the completion of Intense School's Authorized CCNA/CCENT/CCDA/CCNA: Security Boot Camp, students will know how to:
- Appropriately make decisions concerning the implementation of specific hardware, including Cisco 2600 series routers and Catalyst 2950series switches.
- Proficiently administer Cisco routers
- Install, configure, and maintain dependable, functional networks
- Properly identify protocols involving Cisco networking devices
- Troubleshoot general network and security issues
- Successfully operate routers and switched LAN networks
- Design Principles
- Routing Protocols Design Considerations
- Unified Wireless Network Architectures
- Security Design Concepts
- Perimeter security
- IOS Firewalls, Cryptography, VPNs, Cisco IPS
Certification & Compliance: 4 Cisco CertificationsAfter completing this boot camp, you will be certified with the following four Cisco certifications:
CCENT CertificationThe Cisco CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician) certification validates the skills required for entry-level network support positions, the starting point for many successful careers in networking. Candidates should have the knowledge and skill to install, operate and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security. CCENT certification is the first step toward achieving CCNA, which covers medium size enterprise branch networks with more complex connections.
CCNA CertificationCCNA certification is recognized as a key route for network professionals on their way to a rewarding career in the Cisco internetworking field. The demand for highly skilled network professionals increases daily. Intense School’s Authorized CCNA course is an innovative and challenging six (6) day CCNA training course designed specifically for network engineers and administrators requiring full knowledge of Cisco router and switch configuration.
CCDA CertificationCisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA®) validates that you have the knowledge required to design a Cisco converged network. With a CCDA certification, a network professional demonstrates the skills required to design routed and switched network infrastructures and services involving LAN, WAN, and broadband access for businesses and organizations. The CCDA curriculum includes designing basic campus, data center, security, voice, and wireless networks.
CCNA SecurityWith a CCNA Security certification, a network professional demonstrates the skills required to develop a security infrastructure, recognize threats and vulnerabilities to networks, and mitigate security threats. The CCNA Security curriculum emphasizes core security technologies, the installation, troubleshooting and monitoring of network devices to maintain integrity, confidentiality and availability of data and devices, and competency in the technologies that Cisco uses in its security structure. The National Security Agency (NSA) recognizes that Cisco CCNA Security courseware meets the CNSS 4011 training standard.
