Dahlia Fatale

Teaches at Vaudezilla Studios

Dahlia Fatale is a contortionist, burlesque dancer and teacher currently residing in the Chicago area. She began dancing as soon as she could walk and continues to study jazz, ballet, modern and contemporary dance. She made her burlesque debut in 2010 with Urban Bombshells Burlesque in Seattle, Washington as a dancer and group act choreographer. While in Seattle she performed regularly with Chameleon Productions and Starving Artists on Parade. Dahlia moved to Chicago in 2012 and continued her burlesque performances with Ties and Tassels Productions, Hot and Heavy Burlesque and The 1901 Gallery. She also honed her contortion skills and performs as a house contortionist at Unbridled at Untitled and with Beast Women! To further body positivity and strength within and outside the burlesque community, Dahlia began teaching at Vaudezilla studios in 2012. She also performs in Vaudezilla's cabaret at Stage 773. For the past 3 years, Dahlia has been a proud performer, teacher and panelist at the Great Burlesque Expo in Boston, Massachusetts. Dahlia strives to evoke strong, personal and interesting characters with her work which intrigues audiences minds as well as their bodies, but more than anything she wants to rock your world.
