What you'll learn in this floral design class:

In this workshop you will learn the manipulation and the observation of materials, as they are best used to gain the objectives expressed in the Japanese view of flower arranging following the curriculum of the OHARA form of Ikebana done in a low bowl using moribana style, meaning "piled-up."

Materials Required:


Bring florist scissors, low-bowl vase/flower needle holder. Vase/low bowl vase: diameter approximately 10-12" inches Pinholder: approximately 3.5x2.5 rectangle or round shape.

The original post mentioned Spanish /English the instructor barely spoke English and it was learn as you saw vs. actually learning technique and form. There was a TA or maybe someone who had experience in the class that spoke Spanish but the instructor seemed annoyed by her connection with some of us. Very disappointed.
