The Quilt Emporium first opened its doors in 1981 with Linda Potsic as the owner. Originally it was located a few miles from its current location and was the only quilt shop in the valley and surrounding areas. After running the shop for 30 years, Linda decided to retire.

From the westbound 101 freeway, exit Topanga Cyn Blvd South. Drive .8 miles on Topanga Cyn Blvd. and turn left onto Dumetz (Starbucks on the Corner). Make an immediate left into the parking lot behind the Quilt Emporium. From the eastbound 101 freeway, exit Ventura Blvd./Topanga Cyn which dumps you onto Ventura Blvd., turn right at the 2nd light onto Topanga Cyn Blvd. Turn left onto Dumetz (Starbucks on Corner). Make an immediate left into the parking log behind the Quilt Emporium. Check in at main desk.
