Children's Costume Creator Series: Up-cycling and Re-styling

During this 4 week series, young people ages 6+ are invited to dream-up, design and build their very own, one of a kind costume items using up-cycled clothing, recycled materials and buckets-full of imagination.

Enter the costume shop at BBCF where anything can take shape…and be worn. The final class will be dedicated to bringing the characters to life, with hair & makeup, for a photo shoot/parade/dance party on the BBCF lawn.

We can make anything! Helmets, wings, telescopic arms, giant heads, masks, gowns, super suits, cloaks and more.

We will use: foam, glue, paint, glitter, paper, cardboard, wire, rhinestones, felt, wigs, fabric, sewing machines, old costumes, hats, shoes, toys and clothing.

Note: This is a drop-off class and parenting adults are welcome to remain on the property to quietly supervise.
