Bamboleo Kids (Amiguitos 2 to 4 years old)

Circle of Musical Friends presents Bamboleo Kids, a Spanish immersion enrichment program for young children.  With the active participation of the parent or caretaker, the child is encouraged to develop practical language skills.  Developmentally appropriate activities involving music and movement, games and role play, art, and storytelling, are used to engage both heritage and non-heritage Spanish learners. Each 6-week session highlights one of the 21 Spanish-speaking countries and territories so families can learn about the cultural and linguistic diversity of the Spanish language over time. 

Class time includes:

Movement & ​Role Play: Children will learn greetings, how to express their emotions, and develop theme related vocabulary.

Storytelling: The Spanish language structure is introduced through expressive story telling and visual aids.

Crafts: Arts and crafts activities encourage 1-1 interaction between the care giver and child to practice new language skills.

Notes: 
Class session meets for one hour once a week for six weeks.  The class includes home materials: 2 bilingual story books (digital/printable PDF format, digital music/storytelling, a lyrics/vocabulary activity book (digital/printable PDF format), and supplies for in-class arts and crafts.
