Community Education classes complement the academic curriculum by offering short-term, fee-based classes that are not-for-college credit. Community Education classes for children and adults are developed and offered in response to community, business, and educational needs as identified by feedback from participants, enrollment history, popularity of similar programs offered elsewhere, and current trends.

Orange Coast College Community Education classes are not equivalent to credit classes and cannot be used to meet prerequisites at Orange Coast College in the credit programs.

Directions:
The Classroom and Labs buildings (Buildings 9 and 150) are located off the main quad in between the Forum and Special Services (by the clock tower). Park in the Parking Lot C located at Fairview Road and Arlington Drive. Walk between the Administration building and the Robert B. Moore Theatre into the quad. The Classrooms and Labs buildings will be right by the clock tower. Weekday parking is by permit only in metered lots. Meters are 50 cents for 1 hour or buy an all day parking permit at yellow ticket dispenser located at Fairview & Arlington, In the Merrimac parking lot, and in the Adams Parking Lot by Monitor Way for $3.00. You may also purchase a parking permit at the Bursar’s office for $30. Parking is FREE on weekends.
