Discover the art of carving glass with precision and creativity in this intensive class at UrbanGlass. Learn techniques such as sawing, grinding, engraving, and more to transform a clear or multi-colored block of Bullseye glass into a stunning sculpture. No experience is required.
In this 3 day intensive class, students will be given a clear or multi-colored block of Bullseye glass, and will be introduced to a wide range of cold shop equipment to carve the block into a small scale sculpture.
Areas covered will include sawing, grinding and polishing, drilling, wheel cutting, wheel and flexible shaft engraving, sandblasting and hand lapping. Each of these techniques allow for an array of possibilities when creating in the cold shop. Hands on work will be complemented by a short presentation on historical and contemporary cold worked glass.

Enrollment cancellations made outside sixteen (16) days from the first day of class are eligible for a refund less a 5% processing fee. Refunds will not be granted for any cancellations made inside sixteen (16) days from the first day of class, or for withdrawals during class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
