This method of stone setting dates back to ancient times but has seen a resurgence in popularity in contemporary jewelry design. Students will learn how to set stones flush with the surface of their metal by carefully drilling, seating and then burnishing stones in place. This versatile technique will open up a world of design options for students while honing dexterity and skill applicable to any jewelry practice.
Materials provided include practice metals, a variety of setting burs and gemstones for practice during the workshop. Additional burs / gems may be available for purchase (optional).
We understand that flexibility is important, and will do our best to accommodate within reason and our capacity.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
