What you'll learn in this painting class:
This twelve week course will include 3, 4-week portrait poses emphasizing quick portrait paintings. Discussion and instruction will center around 5 principle concepts:
Materials List:
Canvas or Linen panel, toned a light grey, no
smaller than 9 x 12; no larger than 18 x 24
raymarart.com is a good supplier of affordable
linen panels.
Brushes:
PALETTE KNIFES
Medium:
Paper towels (Viva, Blue Shop Towels, or Bounty
are preferred)
- Color Tiling
- The Wig-Makers Block
- 4-6 Color Value Notan
- Structural Symmetry
- and the Interconnection of Angles and Plumb Lines.

100% refund will be issued up to seven days after the first class. After this, no refund will be issued.

Unfortunately, we do not offer makeup classes. The instructor can tell them what they missed. Most of our classes are taught atelier style. If there is a demonstration during the particular session, after the demonstration the instructor goes to each student to work with them on a one-to-one basis. During this time the instructor can work with the student who missed the previous week, talk with them and explain what to do.
