Intuitive Photography: New York Transit Museum

By the end of the class students will not only be looking at the world with an eye of a photographer, but will have better photographs to prove it.

Please join us for 3 hours to fine tune your intuition and your eye at The New York Transit Museum. Great views, as well as people and abstract photos will await us.  

We will conduct exercises to tune you into your intuition, and learn how to take photographs by following it. In addition, we will focus on the differences between looking, observing and seeing. Throughout the class you will be given feedback on how to better the composition of your photographs. 

Please bring only your camera and one lens - no tripods or other equipment/lenses needed.  

Let's meet on the outside entrance of the New York Transit Museum.  

Directions:

Located at the corner of Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street, Brooklyn Heights.

Subway: to Borough Hall, to Court Street, to Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street, to Jay Street/MetroTech.  

Train: 2,3,4,5,R,A,C,F,G 

Bus: B25, B26, B38, B41, B45, B52, B54, B57, B61, B62, B63, B65, B67, B103 all stop within 1 to 2 blocks of the museum.

Q: Can I just bring my point and shoot camera?
A: Yes, a digital point and shoot camera is just fine for this class.
