It was a delightful evening. Well prepared and informative. I turned out to be a less than accomplished sushi maker, but I loved trying.

It is a good class in learning the basics about rolled sushi. I would I have liked to have learned more of the details about making the sushi rice and brining the seafood before using it in a roll, but I think the class is too short to include these items. However, I would have paid more for a 3 hour class that would have included these two preparations.

Class was great! Very informative and moved at a nice pace, not too slow. Sushi was delicious. My only thing is I wish the sushi had had more ingredients or at least more fish, it was a lot of rice. Would also be nice to BYOB because the hotel drinks were expensive.

The instructor did not have our name on the list, and I had to show him multiple receipts to prove I paid for the class. Otherwise, this class was great. Difficult to hear teacher if you don’t sit close to him.

The location was changed and I never received an email letting me know but to be honest there should of been phone calls instead of emails The location was awful at the cage at the Marriott hotel you could not see the instructors demonstrations The drinks were very very expensive at the marriot The tuna sushi was low quality and cut with breadcrumbs to make it go further We got there late due to the location change and it’s very uncomfortable walking into a class late!!

It was very informative, and so helpful when the teacher would come around and hand demonstrate technique at the table. But the beginning of the class felt very disorganized and slow to get started, despite the fact that everyone was asked to be present and ready 15 minutes in advance.
