What you'll learn in this ice cream class:

Learn how to make your own boozy ice cream! During this class, you'll learn how to concoct two of our most popular boozy ice cream and sorbet creations using a commercial grade batch ice cream machine. PLUS taste limited-time seasonal flavors, learn about our company history, and take home two pints of the ice cream you make in an insulated Tipsy Scoop tote bag!

Beer, wine and to-go pints will be available for purchase at special class pricing.


Classes will be taught by Tipsy Scoop's Founder and Chief of Operations. Must be 21+ with valid ID to attend.

Hey, really cant make it for the start of the class I wish to attend, however. if I come 30-45 mins into the class, will I still have an enjoyable experience?

Hi there! Sadly you will miss out on crucial pieces of the process if you are late to the class. Two flavors are made during the class, the first of which is made during the first 30/45 minutes, so if you arrive past this time you will miss the first flavor.

Will this class provide the necessary information to make your own ice cream at home? For example.. which tools, ice cream maker, packaging, etc to buy? What will I leave this class knowing?

Hi there, yes they do include information throughout the class about how to adapt the recipes for a personal ice cream maker. Because participant skill and interest in actually making the recipes can vary, they encourage participants to talk to the instructors one on one during breaks if you want more information. Additionally, they can send them recipes and more information following the class if you would like.

The class was fun, however, it was very expensive. We technically did not make our own personal ice cream because everyone’s mixes were put together. Also, in all, there was about 45 minutes of downtime between making the ice cream and waiting for the ice cream to freeze. More can be done during that time so that we can get our money’s worth.

Overall it was fun, loved the sundae station and get to take home delicious ice cream. Not too challenging to make and more social than instructional :)
