This was an excellent introduction to wine tasting and food pairing! Andy was so knowledgeable, but more importantly, he was an engaging lecturer and an accessible teacher. He really made it feel like wine is an accessible hobby to all and that it doesn't have to be pretentious or out of reach. He was funny and I really did learn so much. The classroom was elegant and had a nice atmosphere. We tasted 6 wines and were welcomed with a glass of prosecco to sip on as he talked. There were very small snacks to demonstrate the food pairing and we had the chance to ask questions downstairs in the store afterwords. Astor Wines was my favorite wine/liquor store before this class, but I have new respect for their educational capabilities. Highly recommend! -
