What you'll learn in this kids science class:

Calling all scientists! Challenge your Jr. Zoologist's curiosity and join this 6-week program to explore STEM topics with expert instructors, hands-on scientific discovery, and animal encounters.

Available Sessions (Dates vary)

Survivor Safari: Ready for a crash-course in outdoor survival skills? Jr. Zoologists will grab their compasses and gear up for some outdoor fun exploring orienteering, wild animal and plant identification, shelter building, and even outdoor cooking! We'll even get some up-close inspiration from survival experts - wild animals!

Wild Earth Science: Ever wondered what makes a volcano blow and an earthquake shake? Come to the zoo and discover the amazing ways our planet has changed over time - participants will spend time in the lab developing hands-on models to demonstrate some of the earth's coolest phenomena.

Ciitzen Science: Grab your binoculars - it's time to become citizen scientists! From birds and bats to clouds and ice, over the course of this series Jr. Zoologists will participate in collecting data for real citizen science research projects. Participants will perfect field ecology and biology techniques and discover their inner naturalist - with some help from our wild animal ambassadors, of course!

This experience is for children ages 6-10.

Refund Policy
There will be no refunds for withdrawals from programs made less than four weeks prior to the course date. All cancellation requests must be made in writing by email. Due to administrative costs, a 50% refund will be provided upon receipt of a written cancellation if received 4 weeks in advance. There will be a $50 per person service charge for each change made to the original registration. There are no make-up sessions for missed dates. Courses are held rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel a program due to insufficient registration, in which case a full refund will be made.
