What you'll learn in this commercial class:
Pilot season! Come January, we begin to enter that time of the industry year where shows are being newly created (or newly rebooted), sampled and pitched, and the market is open for new looks and fresh faces! Let us get you pilot-season-ready!
In this fun and exciting prep course, students will learn the do’s and don’ts of auditioning for pilot TV shows, in order to be able to hit the ground running when the season starts just a few weeks after the end of the program.
Pilot shows begin with a clean slate. The characters are brand new. There are no viewers with which a pre-existing bond or affinity for the protagonists has been established, there are not yet any standouts or fan favorites. From mastering the cold read, to commanding the room, to knowing what to look out for (and what to ask about) when auditioning for a brand new TV series, to being as comfortable with an in-person audition as a self-tape audition, through audition simulations with expert feedback from Top Casting Director Guests, ATNY’s Pilot Prep program will give you the tools necessary to have a positive and productive pilot season experience.
Refund Policy
We have a strict ‘NO REFUNDS’ policy.
Make-up Classes or Workshops
Classes: We know schedules can get difficult and things happen; so, we stay parent friendly and flexible. Make up classes must be completed in same semester as that to which you’ve registered. With the school approval, you may carry over missed 2 classes or days only, to the next semester only, including summer.
Workshops: Because there are limited seats in workshops, each workshop, without exception, is a ‘use it or lose it.’ There are no make up workshops permitted. However, if you give us written notice within 2 days of actual workshop that you cannot attend, we can attempt to fill your seat. Then, and only then, you may receive future workshop credit, to last 6 months from date of registered workshop.
Thank you for your understanding with this policy.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
