Question from Anonymous
Hi, I am fairly new to Premiere Pro but have a class in a book and have been learning it for the last four months and am able to build and export sequences. I would like to go over some basics but mainly improve at utilizing effects, transitions and color correction. Do you think this course could help me develop from a beginner to an intermediate or more advanced Premiere Pro user?
Answer from ronald l. Verified Student
When I took the class the teacher wasn't great so I wouldn't recommend taking it here. Can't remember her name now but maybe you might have someone different.
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Thanks for your inquiry! They use the Classroom in a Book as well. This workshop is set up to be an introduction to the software's editing functionality, will definitely help you with the basics. Transitions and effects are touched on, but color correction is not. This workshop would be a good chance for you to refresh and solidify some skills, but it might not cover everything you're looking for. Hope this helps!

Good intro class. Definitely geared towards beginners, as it goes into a lot of detail about the Premiere interface, and basics like saving/ exporting files and importing clips. Helpful instructor and small class size.

I think for a course for begginers the most important thing is to know, learn and get to know the tools that are mostly used. Focusing on one project and going through the tools in a broader way in order to acquire a skill set.
