Sketch is an outstanding UX/UI and Visual Design tool that is fast, easy to use and a great alternative to adobe applications. This design program is cutting edge and empowering users in Visual Design, UX, Vector Graphics and more.
Our intensive all day workshop will help designers with little or no experience be effective and resourceful users of Sketch. Together we will learn the basics of the Sketch 4 program, how to work with the key tools and workflows for UX and visual designers, and how to create outstanding visual design such as websites, wireframes, mockups even branding and logos.
Topics Covered: Through our personalized workshop you will be able to hit the ground running with creating and efficiently working with artboards, text and typography design, object styles, symbols, and vector drawing for icons, symbols and logos. Lastly, we will use Sketch’s powerful and smart export features to create SVGs, PNGs, JPEGs, and even PDFs.

Ivan is a great teacher, and Awesome went above and beyond. The small size of the class ensured personal attention and more interaction with my classmates. Our exercises went from simple shapes to mobile layouts to full templated designs. I came out not only with a nice understanding of Sketch, but a starter portfolio and great resources/contacts to start branching out into the design world. I'm a convert and will definitely attend more Awesome classes in the near future.

Sketch Foundations exceeded my expectations in so many ways. After taking this class, I left fully equipped to create mockups for apps, mobile-friendly sites, a clear understanding of plug-ins and UI kits available, and most important (to me at least), the ability to create files that engineers can work with. Also, Ivan is an amazing instructor and it was really helpful that he is an active creative director, designer, and UX expert. We had really good conversations about the business side of running an agency. Overall the class was fun, engaging, and the class space was beautiful. I will definitely be back for the intermediate class!

This class was fantastic. I went into it expecting to learn a more efficient way to do wireframes, but gained so much more knowledge of the software's capabilities then I had ever anticipated. I left feeling motivated to explore further with Sketch and inspired to utilize it in various design projects of my own. The instructor, Ivan, is a great educator, patient, and clearly very knowledgable of the software and all aspects of design. The space itself is stunning...it makes you want to 'do the work' and be creative!
