The grounds of this historic house, built in 1699, has had plenty of time to accumulate edible "weeds," and with lots of open, sunny spots, sheltering walls, and disturbed habitats, it will be a great place to find late-season herbs, greens, fruits, berries, and roots. This will be our first foraging tour here, so surprises will abound, but here are a few of the delicious edibles we can expect to find: Chickweed does great in the cold weather....
