What's not to love about this life affirming, confidence building, storytelling, fear facing, interesting and fun educational training center where one can go, for 3 1/2 hours after work, to learn all those communication skills we are all too embarrassed to admit not knowing? This is a place step out of your comfort zone to really practice important life skills as originally taught by Dale Carnegie. All lessons take place in a classroom setting through role-playing, reflection, open dialogue, and listening to other professionals who have more or less the same insecurities, strengths, and aspirations. This Is a wonderful place to learn how to be a better coworker, friend, boss, family member and human being. Thank you to the coaches and the trainers at the Dale Carnegie Institute for committing to helping other people become better people.

Great interactionand atmoshpahre of enthusiasm and engagement in the class. I improved my communication and human relation skills, as well as leadership skills. You practice to challenge yourself, do something new that scares you every day and go out of your comfortzone... in and outside the classroom. You learn how to be a better person, and importnaly how to succeed in your career. The Dale Carnegie coaches are really inspiring.

I'm currently taking the Dale Carnegie course in Hauppague, NY, but the course is the same regardless of where you take it. I'll be finishing up the class this week. Basically, it's a 12 week course that focuses on Dale Carnegie's principles to better your relationships with other people, to speak well and to become a leader. Dale has written these two books: "How to Win Friends and Influence People" and "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living". This course is based upon principles in these two books. Reading these books is helpful, but the course really cements these principles in your brain. I've really bonded with the 14 other people in the class. I will truly miss them after next week when the course is over. My instructor made me really look forward to my 3 hour class on Wednesday nights, even though I had worked an full day and really would have wanted to go home. I can't recommend this course enough to everyone. Over the course of the last 12 weeks, I have been able to get over my fear of speaking in front of people. I have become more clear when discussing concepts and not as nervous as I would have normally been. My relationships with my coworkers and my friends has improved a lot.

This class was fantastic! Jacqualin, our teacher brought this material to life. She was thorough, completely attentive, engaging and cared about every one of her students to ensure each student learnt every piece from this course. I thoroughly enjoyed this class and Jacqualine's teaching, and am a better person for having participated.

I found this class enlightening. I learned techniques that I could immediately apply in both professional and personal settings--one of which I found myself using immediately upon returning to work, and to great success! The instructor was knowledgeable and personable, and the other participants offered diverse insights that only added to my experience. I look forward to taking another Dale Carnegie course in the future.

The instructor was fabulous! The materials could be a little more engaging (i.e. in color). I would recommend this course to others in my company.
