Teacher was great - engaging and knowledgeable. Would have been great to have more of an opportunity for hands on practice/coaching with different techniques.

Very interesting class on photo composition. I definitely appreciated the slides and the discussions as we examined some examples of paintings and photos.. Interesting to use art examples and not just photos to illustrate the different points. It helped that the instructor had art theory background. My only critique/suggestion would be that I thought instructor would also accompany us during the picture taking exercise.. but then again.. it still works as we're trusted to go on our own and discover and then we discuss in length back in the classroom.. which was done here.. I would definitely recommend the class to anyone wanting to learn theory behind photo composition.. *One question.. is it possible to get copy of the power point presentation from the class? I was jotting down some of the artist names and paintings but def missed some. would like to have that so I can look up online.. Thx

Sally is remarkable in her skills (decade + of photography experience and education), her teaching abilities (excellent slides, examples, real world situations, and practice), and her humor (a bonus). This class was picture perfect.

Loved everything about this class! Digital Photo II was a great experience but you definitely need to take digital photo I first to get the full understanding of everything. I really hope BKC is working on a digital photo III class cause I'd be the first to sign up!

Didn't cover the last module. Had fun, but don't feel that I really learned that much. Lighting module was good.
