This course was so much fun and so useful. Guillermo was a great instructor—friendly, helpful, and explained his methods and why he did things a certain way. I’ve basically been mutilating onions for years but now feel comfortable in cutting them safely and well. This was definitely a great class !

Guillermo was amazing and very thorough! The course itself was a great refresher and reminder of proper techniques for prepping food. Would love to take a class of his again!

Super helpful class that covers the basics of kitchen knife skills. The instructor answers everyone's questions, is willing to repeat demonstrations if asked. Obviously not the same experience as it'd be in person, but didn't miss too much of a beat with it being an online class

Great introduction to a variety of knife skills and techniques. Hands on experience applying the skills to a variety of vegetables. Chef Guillermo did a fantastic job.

Great class. Chef was great at explaining the smallest details and was very helpful during his Q&A. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their efficiency in the kitchen, and I will be looking into other courses that he offers.

The class was exactly what I wanted: a basic introduction to knife skills. I'd suggest doing 4 vegetables instead of 5 just to go a little slower through the process. There's a lot more to learn that I expected. Chef Guillermo was great-- organized and thorough.

Chef Guillermo was such a lovely, knowledgeable instructor. Gave so many helpful tips on how to better use knives - from hand positioning to what kind of cutting boards to use. He made the class fun and practical while also instilling excitement about future cooking projects. This is an essential course for anyone trying to create better (and safer!) habits in the kitchen.

Guillermo was super knowledgeable about hot sauce making and also provided a lot of interesting information and history as well as ideas for how to adapt recipes to your taste. It was a little changing to both listen and do all the prep and make the sauce simultaneously. The hot sauces turned out delicious. Overall the class was really fun and definitely worth it!

Great class, moved at a smooth, not rushed pace, well demonstrated and verbal directions and information as well as allowing time of questions. Chef did a great job.

Chef Guillermo Delavault was great!!! Demonstrations were excellent and he gave us enough time to ask questions. Very good knife introduction.

I learned a lot during this class, and am so glad I took it! The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because there wasn't as much time as I would've liked to practice throughout the class, which is just to say I would have loved perhaps a 1.5 hour class. The chef was absolutely wonderful though and really filled every minute of the time we had!

Guillermo was a great instructor; detailed, patient, thorough, and very entertaining. The class covers the basics and you end up with a decent grasp of the concepts. My only advice is to buy more supplies than suggested, so you can try out all the methods multiple times and test your skills after class is done. At least I could fry up my work for lunch afterwards.

I didn’t know what to expect, but this was such a great class and I learned so much in a quick hour! I’m buying this for my mom for her upcoming birthday and would highly recommend for all amateur cooks!

The instructor was very easy to follow. But the class taught very basic skills only. I wish it covered different types of knives, their uses,
and show more than cutting just vegetables.

This class was a perfect combination of instruction, demonstration, explanation and safety. Chef also was very cognizant of my pace, and was open to questions during and after. Looking forward to practicing what I learned. I loved it!

It was a short (1 hour) but really informative lesson on the skills essential to working in a kitchen. Of course, it would be preferable to have it in person, but by zoom was not bad!

The chef was very clear in his instructions and he was very open to any questions and even offering to answer questions in the future if we had any. I learned a lot and definitely feel more comfortable in my cooking knife skills.

Techniques taught were good, but moved a little too fast. Probably covered too much for an hour. Could have used more feedback.

Instructor was good and very well prepared. However, he was Italian with a noticeable accent. I have hearing issues and understood very little that he said. I stayed with the class to see what I could learn visually, which was minimally successful. I’m not inclined to take other classes because I don’t want to pay for this experience again.
