Kimberly Severson & Crystal Cun

Teaches at Astor Center

Kimberly is a wine educator, sommelier, caterer and all-around food and drink enthusiast. Trained at the Culinary Institute of America, Kimberly worked in celebrated NYC restaurants such as Café Gray and Alto before going on to study wine at the American Sommelier Association and The International Wine Center. 

Kimberly spent five years as Director of Programming at Astor Center before creating Spoon & Cork, an NJ-based business offering boutique catering, beverage consulting, and wine tasting events to the Tri-State area.

Crystal is an avid seafood lover, sourdough baker, and wine enthusiast. She was the Communications Manager for Element Seafood for five years, where she connected NYC's leading chefs with quality shellfish. She is always excited to talk about oysters with the bivalve-curious. Previously, she studied food culture and communications at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy, and culinary techniques at the International Culinary Center. These days, she works at Fleishers Craft Butchery as their Brand Manager, and spends her spare time curing charcuterie and braising for hours and hours.
