Milica Paranosic, Dan Cooper & Gene Pritsker

Milica Paranosic is a composer, performance artist, producer and educator born in Belgrade and now based in New York City. A recipient of many international awards, grants, and honors, her compositions include concert pieces, mixed media, and interactive works, as well as music for dance, stage and film. Milica has performed and had her compositions performed, at numerous venues, concert halls, theaters, galleries, clubs and site-specific locations worldwide, collaborating internationally with a diverse set of interdisciplinary artists and organizations. Milica was co-founder of Beyond the Machine, and has been the producer of the festival for ten years. She is also an Associate Director of the Mentoring program at the Juilliard School and a multimedia director for VisionIntoArt, a non-profit performing arts organization based in New York City. After receiving her masters degree from Juilliard, Milica stayed to teach composition and music technology there. She has also participated in a variety of other New York arts organizations and maintains an active private studio. Most recently, she has found a new focus in teaching through her Give to Grow educational project based in Ghana.
