Sam is a multidisciplinary writer and designer based in Brooklyn. Sam’s work has been developed and performed at Dixon Place, the Orchard Project, The Davenport Theatre (In the Water Theatre Company), University of Evansville, Carnegie Mellon University, The New Ohio Theatre (AmericanAF Festival), IRT Theater (3B Development Series), Loading Dock (Forklift Development Series), The Museum of Sex, & New York Theatre Workshop Next Door’s DESSERT Queer Performance Series. Sam has also creatively supported work at Brooklyn Academy of Music (SLEEP), Fault Line Theatre Co. (The America Experiment), Performance Space New York (Jupiter’s Lifeless Moon’s), The New Harmony Project (District Merchants, This Random World, On Clover Road), The New Victory Theater (Phantom Limb Company’s RIVER, DALE, & GLEN), and the Brunel Museum in London (CAVE). Sam has also enjoyed collaborations for Esperanza Spalding, Joan Baez, Erin Markey, Dane Terry, and Ellie Heyman. Sam is a current member of Pipeline Theater Company’s PlayLab (class of 2019), and a set design mentee in Wingspace Theatrical Design’s 2018-2019 cohort.
