From one of NY's busiest TV casting offices, Freya is casting for a NY TV series and her recent projects include the crime drama DR DEATH (seasons 1 and 2) starring Alec Baldwin & Christian Slater on Peacock.
She’s also worked on KATY KEENE (CW), ALMOST FAMILY (FOX) and HAPPY (Scyfy). She has also cast the interactive video games 12 MINUTES and TELLING LIES for Annapurna and most recently IMMORTALITY.
Previously, while living in Los Angeles she worked on many films including RUBY SPARKS, WHIP IT, ENDLESS LOVE, TERMINATOR SALVATION, and HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU.
For this virtual intensive, you'll be assigned sides by Freya in advance. You'll start off with a Q&A, then Freya will be working on-camera using the pre-read format with a reader in a group. Be prepared for feedback and to take re-adjustments on the fly.
What to Prepare:
- Freya will select sides for you which will be emailed to you to prepare in advance.
- Please Note: Once scenes have been distributed, if you late cancel you will not be replaced!
Please follow the procedures listed below:- Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.
- Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to [email protected] at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
School Notes: Class end time will vary depending on the number of actors and the scenes that are assigned. Registrants are advised to budget extra time, as class time may run over.
