Learn the art of Dynamic Massage Cupping and find out what all the buzz is about. If you do not receive cupping now, your main references for this practice might be all of the round marks on athletes like Michael Phelps at the Olympics or the celebrities that often get photographed with them like Jennifer Aniston, Lady Gaga, or Victoria Beckham (to name a few :-) But cupping does not have to leave marks to be effective.
I use silicone cupping in my massage practice; and I do not use any flames.
The benefits of cupping therapy are widely discussed and debated. I try to keep it simple (and provable) by focusing on the effects of the vacuum created by the suction effect of the cups, such as; increasing blood and lymphatic circulation systemically and locally, relaxing muscles and connective tissue, drawing out stagnation, pathogenic factors and toxins from the tissues, and releasing a myriad of pain-causing factors.
In this workshop, I will show you how to safely cup your partner and yourself, because cupping is great self-care as well.
All of the cups and everything else that you will need are provided.
You will also get a set of silicone therapy cups to take home with you.
Note:
This class is great for massage therapists who want to improve their cupping skills.
