Brian Huynh

Teaches at Joy of Motion Dance Center

Brian Huynh started his dance career at the age of 16, as a B-Boy in high school. He soon discovered his love for choreography and hasn’t stopped dancing since. Brian is the Company Director of Hype Flow, JOMDC’s youth breakdancing company, under the H.Y.P.E. Program. Brian has taught various workshops at locations up and down the East Coast including: Studio Bleu, Culture Shock DC, Phunktions, and various workshops in North Carolina. He recently was invited to perform at Soundbox Studios in Houston, Texas, and competed at Elements East Coast Dance Competition at Boston University and Coalesence showcase in Harrisonburg, Virginia. A humble teacher, he strives to contribute, with his craft, to his local community. Most recently, Brian has been a principal choreographer for Capital Funk, located in Washington, DC. Brian has a style that is unique, challenging and infectious—a combination that keeps his students on their toes.
