Spring Break Arts & Crafts Camp

Process art takes a different approach that allows children to shift their focus from the end product to the process. It celebrates discovery and creativity and supports their natural inclination as sensory explorers. Children learn to embrace experimentation, think about physical limitations, gain confidence as they realize their own ideas, and use critical thinking skills.

As art-facilitators, we do not  have all of the answers. Instead, we invite campers to view us as co-learners. We may know a little more about art supplies and techniques, but we know that no one understands your young artist's vision as he or she does. 

Campers will have free, self-serve access to all applicable art supplies  for  each project that each can easily use independently, including paints, clay, paper (of all sizes, colors, and types) crayons, pencils, stickers, stencils, markers, and many other unexpected artistic mediums. Our team of educator-artists will be on-hand to answer questions and provide a helping hand whenever needed. 

No two pieces of art will be alike and every camper will have ample opportunity to complete their own vision. Each day of camp will be guided by a theme to help get those creative juices flowing. How our campers interpret that theme is up to them!

What to bring: 

Campers should bring a lunch and two snacks plus a water bottle. Please leave all electronic devices (includes phones and tablets) at home. 

Please avoid packing nuts of all kinds and in all forms to keep our campers with allergies safe.
