In this CraftJam Academy spanning 3 sessions, you will learn basic knots, construction and design techniques and create your own custom wall hanging!

Macrame is the modern art of decorating with knots. The craft has been around for centuries and became popular in the 1970s. With new modern designs, macrame has made a comeback. As we have seen in so many home decoration blogs and magazines, Macrame wall decorations are a chic and elegant way to add texture to your home. Now you can make one yourself!

We have created an extensive knot guide and prepared cool patterns for you to follow in this CraftJam Academy. After taking this class you will be able to follow other macrame patterns and apply these techniques to your own designs.

In three sessions, JamMaster Paige will introduce you to the basic techniques of macrame, provide you with an knot reference sheet and guide you through creating a unique wall-art piece. You will finish the workshop with a tutorial on digitizing your designs.
