Description
Acrylic Painting: Pumpkin Paint Pour with Matching Painting
Come in and pour some paint on a pumpkin, and create a matching painting while your at it!
What is acrylic paint pouring? It's a form of abstract painting using fluid acrylic paints. Instead of using paint brushes, we pour the paint on the canvas. It's fun and easy!
In this super fun class you'll decorate a pumpkin while creating an abstract paintings using the flip cup technique.
Basically you'll pour several colors into a cup, and flip the cup onto the pumpkin. The paint pours out, and then you tip and tilt the canvas,
using gravity to move the paint around. The colors swirl and form a super cool abstract painting!
We end up with a lot of paint on the canvases, so they'll need to dry overnight before you can take them home. Plan on picking up your paintings the day after class, or we can set up a time for the following week.
All paint is included, as well a small craft (not real) pumpkin and an 8x10 canvas. You choose whatever colors you like!
If you had so much fun that you'd like to do another painting, it's an additional $20 for a canvas (additional pumpkins may or may not be available.)
Please note:
- Aprons are provided, but it's a good idea to wear clothes they don't mind getting paint on, just in case.
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes early, to allow time to check in and get settled.
- The minimum age to register is 12, and the child must be with a paid adult, and comfortable in a class full of adults.
Refund Policy
If you need to cancel we would be happy to give you credit towards another workshop if you notify us at least 2 business days before the class is scheduled to start.
No refunds unless we cancel.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
