ACLS Skills Session

ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.

This course can be done for initial ACLS certification or renewal but, is NOT recommended for first time ACLS students. This is a Hybrid course with an online portion done through the American Heart Association, which can take anywhere from 4-6 hours, and an in class skills testing portion, which take 1-2 hours.

This Hybrid Online/in-class PALS skills course is for BOTH Certification and Recertification.

Textbook is NOT required. 

Step 1. Web-based, self-directed course that uses case-based scenarios and interactive lessons to teach students about both single-rescuer and team basic life support. 

Upon completion of the online portion, students will meet with an instructor for the Skills Session. The skills session is required in order to complete the training and receive your Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification card.

Step 2 - Skills Session with instructor

• Bring your Certification of Completion
• Duration: Approximately 1 - 2 hours, based on skill level 

Course Completion:

• ACLS course completion card authorized by the American Heart Association, valid for two years.
• Accreditation/Agency - American Heart Association
