Sean’s passion for fitness began when he was still in high school. While competing in lacrosse, wrestling, and hockey in the Boston area, he sought to bring his sports conditioning to the next level. In college, his routines became even more intense as he trained to enter the Navy’s EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) community. As the training increased, so did his love for understanding the body and how to reach his top potential. After moving to Houston in 2012, Sean formalized his passion for training into his own business called Spark Performance™. He also began teaching small groups and was given the opportunity to instruct bootcamp classes at Studio Fitness. Today Sean leads Ignite E.S.T (Endurance and Strength Training) with a loyal and constantly growing following. Outside of training, Sean is a mechanical engineer by degree from Villanova University and has been in the oil and gas industry as a project manager since 2012. He is now pursuing his doctorate in physical therapy and also has a number of certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in personal training, corrective exercises, and fitness nutrition. Sean’s classes have thrived by offering a constant variety of full body exercises and techniques focused on strength and endurance.
