Had a great time and absolutely loved the class. It’s more free form and exploratory and figuring out HOW to use your tools and work with the rock. If you’re expecting to create a perfect masterpiece in one go - don’t! This is a one day course, so go in with the expectation of learning and having fun

Well, here we go with a new addiction. What an experience! Carving stone is more than it seems. I went in for a lesson in tooling and carving but I'm going back for the meditative experience and to attempt to unlock my inner artist. You can definitely come away with something in your first go but the possibilities are endless and worth exploring more.

Loved this workshop! Dr. Steve is very knowledgeable and engaging. He provided just the right level of information, not too much or too little. I look forward to pursuing future learning opportunities at his floral design school. The experience was well-worth the fee. It was a most enjoyable workshop, right in the heart of Back Bay!

I truly enjoyed this course. Scott created a relaxed environment where we were able to harness our own creativity and he helped guide us with the tools on an individual basis. The format was very much open shop which allowed us to create without being concerned about where we are in the process. Looking forward to going back for another round!

Alexandra Rozenman was born to be a teacher-- inspiring, very smart & funny in a good way. She knows her art in depth. The atmosphere among the students is lively, friendly and you learn at your own pace. It took me a while to start painting-- my work is very analytical and my soul really needed some balance. I wish I had done it sooner-- I feel recharged and full of ideas. Her studio is also in a conducive place, a converted charming old building in a quiet area in Somerville. Plenty of a parking (a must for me). Great experience and I´ll be signing up for more.

Thank you for creating such an appealing, welcoming welcoming, ambient sanctuary environment in the learning space you designed. Every session was highlighted with wonderful music, a stunning rich array of colorful, fragrant, beautiful flowers, a complementary variety of lush greenery, and the bonus of many special thoughtful creative touches you so generously lavished upon us (like the exotic lotus leaves and decorative chopsticks, to name just a few). Thank you for enriching our lives by sharing from your wealth of years of knowledge and experience and business savvy. A breath of fresh air and an exceptional expression of loveliness in today's busy world. Thank you for your motivational encouragement. It has been a blessing, an honor, and pleasure learning from you these past eight weeks.

Thank you for a wonderful learning experience. Before signing up for classes, I did a lot of reading and investigating. I talked to people who are respected in the floral industry. They had nothing but praise for your program. One said, ‰ÛÏI wouldn't go any other place to get training‰Û. After attending the course, I concur with him. I was pleased we studied the principles of flower design, positive and negative space, and color; not just how to put flowers into a container. Thank you for giving us the formulas and then encouraging us to experiment and create beyond the expected. Your critiques were always positive, helpful and appreciated.

Under Alexandra's guidance/teaching, I now have four impressionist paintings hanging in my apartment! Each painting took 3-4 sessions to complete. Alexandra is not only funny, sweet, and kind, but also a great teacher. She would let me pick out a painting that I would like to "replicate", teach me the techniques to get it "right", but also let me know that there is no right or wrong way to paint and allowed freedom to incorporate my own style into the replicas. I enjoyed learning to paint from Alexandra!
