Description

In this fun, approachable class,

students will learn about the tools,

preparations and materials of pointed

pen calligraphy. Instruction starts with

core strokes, basic letter-forms and

flourishes using straight pens and

black ink, then moves on to the use

of oblique pens, alternative inks, and

decorative alphabet styles. Students

will develop their own calligraphy

fonts, address envelopes, create a

piece of wall art, and learn about digitizing

calligraphy.
