What you'll learn in this revit training:

This course covers the basics of Revit Structure, from schematic design through construction documentation. Through hands-on exercises representing real-world design scenarios, students learn how to use Building Information Modeling (BIM) to manage change in a building model.

This course begins with an overview of the Revit Structure user interface, and is followed by the tools used for parametric 3D design, analysis, and documentation.

Prerequisites:
No previous CAD experience is necessary, however it is highly recommended that students have experience and knowledge in structural design and its terminology. It is also recommended that the student have a working knowledge of a recent version of Microsoft Windows.

Students will get Autodesk Authorized Training courseware, extended telephone support for 30 days, and the knowledge to get started with Revit Structure.

Notes:
The course length is a guideline. Course topics and duration may be modified by the instructor based upon the knowledge and skill level of the students. All courses will be taught on the most current release, depending on availability of courseware.

Refund Policy

Schedule changes or cancellations are accepted up to ten (10) business days before the start date of the class. Cancellations received within ten (10) days of the start date of the class will not be refunded. Rescheduling within that time may incur a $100 reschedule fee and/or additional charges should the price of the class change prior to the reschedule date. Substitutions are allowed with 24 hours notice before the start of class.

In the event a class does not reach its minimum enrollment, the class may be rescheduled or canceled. MicroCAD will make every effort to notify students of any cancellations no later than five (5) business days prior to the start of class. Students who have paid in full for a class canceled by MicroCAD may register for the next available class, substitute for a shorter personal consulting session, or receive a full refund.

If inclement weather forces the cancellation of a class, a MicroCAD representative will contact you as early as possible. Please be sure to provide a phone number where you will be reachable during non-business hours. Our Training Centers will most likely follow the cancellation decisions of the local public schools.
