Knife Skills 101

In this basic class you’ll learn how to hold a knife, how to cut without hurting yourself, and how to vary your cuts based on what you plan to cook. Recommended before taking Soup Making 101 and Quick Pickling. Please note - this class will only be taught for groups of 2 or more. We will notify customers in advance if the class doesn't have enough participants, and they will be able to sign up for a future class instead!

Knife Skills 102 is all about 3D cuts. These are more complex cuts that we use every day in the restaurant. When developing this class we asked ourselves - what sorts of fruits and vegetables are our restaurant teams cutting for fruit salads, lemonades, and sodas? Prerequisite: PASSED the Knife Skills 101 test
