Frank Pettorossi, Annette Lippert

Teaches at The Eliot School

Frank Pettorossi (woodworking) started as a cabinetmaking apprentice at age 14 in Baselice, a small town in the Naples region of Italy. After moving to the US, he graduated from Boston Trade and joined Cabinetmakers Local 51. He worked in architectural millwork shops throughout the Boston area, did construction for Bar & Bar Co. and installed displays for Filenes department stores. His experience as a cabinetmaker and carpenter spans five decades. He says, “I have been working at the Eliot School for over 12 years and I find it very rewarding helping others with my craft.”

Annette Lippert (woodworking) is founder of ANSOLI Design, specializing in modern, custom furniture. She sees teaching as a way to share her passion for the opportunity to directly influence and execute every aspect of a project. She teaches both in our schoolhouse and through the Eliot School Partnership Program. She has been a Furniture Intern at Moebel Werk (Sittensen, Germany), architect at Leers Weinzapfel Associates (Boston) and VMDO Architects (Charlottesville VA) and Project Manager at GPMS GmbH (Dresden & Stuttgart, Germany). She holds a BArch from Cornell University and a Diploma in Cabinet & Furniture Making from North Bennet Street School.
