John Shankman

John Shankman has been trying to get to the publishing center of the Internet since 2004 when he read his first blog post. Since then he's held positions like Regional Manager, Sales Director, Ad Ops Manager, and Publisher at independent, digital publishing companies like The Huffington Post, Federated Media and The Awl Network. He now has his own company called Hashtag Labs that's in the business of helping independent publishers and content creators monetize their work more easily and effectively and helping advertisers produce better content. He is PASSIONATE about the Internet, content and trying to make a living out of combining the two.
