Description Cancellation Policy

Description

Metal 2 changes each semester, allowing students to express their creativity through different and unique sterling silver projects each time. During every course, you will create two to three projects in sterling silver, honing skills in forging, fusing, creating hollow forms, and advanced stone setting. Students continue to practice building heavy bezels with hammer and punch, fabricate hollow rings or pendants, and, depending on experience, can learn flush setting faceted stones.

In addition to the course, Metal 2 students are offered open studio hours on Sundays from 9A to 1P each week. Open studio hours are non-instructional sessions where students can work on past, current, or independent projects—whether at an open studio bench, a soldering station, or using pre-approved tools.

Prerequisite: JewelryClassDC Metal 1 or comparable experience. Please contact us if registering with comparable experience.

Students should not wear loose clothing and should be able to tie their hair back.

Refund Policy

  • Refund less 5% cancellation fee will be issued if cancellation notice is received 6 business days prior to the start of reserved class.
  • Full credit will apply for (1) year if cancellation is received less than 6 business days prior to the start of reserved class.

In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non refundable registration fee.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
